Sunday Experience

Are you new to Brandywine? Welcome! Whether you are new to the area, new to Brandywine, new or returning to faith, we’re glad you’re here. Our prayer is that you find encouragement, community, and be built up in your relationship with Christ.

  • Come As You Are

No need to worry about what to wear. You’ll experience everything from t-shirts and flip flops to business casual attire.

  • A Warm Welcome

As soon as you walk into the building, you will be welcomed by our friendly team who will help you find your way around, answer your questions, and make sure you feel right at home.

  • Service Style

Our Sunday service includes worship, music, scripture, Bible-based teachings and messages, and prayer. We have two service styles: a traditional service at 8:30 am and contemporary services at 10 and 11:30. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged as you hear messages focused on offering real help and real hope for life’s daily challenges.

  • Music Styles

The contemporary music (at 10:00am and 11:30am) is led by a worship leader and a live band. The traditional music (at 8:30am) features hymns and is led by an ensemble accompanied by piano.

  • What’s available for my kids?

Children are welcome at Brandywine! The Brandywine Kids’ ministry meets on Sundays at 10 am and 11:30 am. Classes are available for infants through 5th grade. A combined Kids’ class for those aged 4 and under is available at 8:30 am.

  • What is the schedule in the morning?

8:30 AM: In-Person Traditional Worship Service

10:00 AM: In-Person Contemporary Worship Service

11:30 AM: In-Person Contemporary Worship Service

The 10 and 11:30 services are also live-streamed for those unable to join us in person.

8:30 AM in-person worship service is in the sanctuary. During this time, a combined Kids’ class for those aged 4 and under is available.

10:00 AM in-person worship service is in the sanctuary. Brandywine Students meet in the gym for worship, a Bible lesson, and discussion. Adult Sunday Classes meet downstairs in and around the Fellowship Hall. Brandywine Kids meet in the nursery or classrooms. Elementary kids (kindergarten to 5th grade) meet together downstairs for a time of worship (music) and a lesson, then break into grade-level groups for discussion.

11:30 AM in-person worship service is in the sanctuary. Brandywine Kids meet in the nursery or classrooms. Elementary kids (1st to 5th grade) join their parents in the sanctuary for the first part of the Worship Service. Before the sermon, the kids are dismissed for Worship Training.

  • How early should I arrive?

Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before the service starts. That will give you time to park and allow you to get into the sanctuary before the music starts. Allow extra time if you have children to check into their classrooms.
